This webinar will review and explain master schedule strategies and options found useful by SLC's and small schools including:
- pros, cons and cautions on the 4x4, 8x2, 7 period and other alternative master schedule formats
- strategies for scheduling math and English intervention during the school day
- strategies for English Learner (EL) and Advanced Placement (AP) classes
Other topics covered will include:
- staffing considerations given the new "staffing ratios" and "enrollment factor" which will reduce the number of teaching positions for most schools
- teacher credentialing issues (especially in science)
- SIS (Student Information System) CL01, CL31, COURSES (and use of TR01 help screen to see the ROP and experimental classes available)
- Special Ed – caution about inaccurate info in fields 702 (SDC) and 703 (RSP) and how to fix same using CS09 and ID05
- planning and implementation process and timelines
